Sunfire has inherited glowing white lustrous fleece from her paternal
grandsire, the well-known Suri herdsire, Peruvian Ramilo, and from his
dad, Pperuvian Torbio. She could also have a color recessive as her
maternal grandsire is the well-known (brown) Sweet Foxfire Jax; she has
given us a bright white daughter and a glossy beige son. A superb mom,
Sunfire births easily and nurtures her crias with plenty of milk. Her
fleece is bright with good luster, her blanket fiber’s secondary and
primary fibers are within 2 grades for a nice uniform micron fleece:
S=3, P=4/5. She has flat, open lock structure which is an advantage for
processing purposes.

Domino is a well-built boy with herd sire presence, unproven because
current market conditions discourage small farm breeding. Pperuvian
Juan, a famous white Suri herdsire, is his grandfather but his father is
WFA Dante Paseo, is a beautiful maroon brown, and we have hopes that
Domino will be able to pass on this beautiful color to his cria if bred
to colored females or those with dark recessives. His lustrous fiber
has lots of grade 3 secondary fibers and a few too many stronger primary
fibers for wearable yarn processing: S=3 P=4/5. Dante has a mix of
colored fibers putting his fleece into a textile Light Rose Grey. His
lock structure is open and flat which is an advantage for processing
purposes.

Rebekah is bred to the great Silver Marquis of Round with cria due 8/6/2012. Rebekah bred and held her pregnancy on her first breeding as a maiden. Her service sire Silver Marquis is a second generation silver gray full peruvian herdsire. He has sired 100% offspring with 98% of which were colored. Some of his better known crias include Platinum Marquis, GLR Marakest, WLK Silver Threads just to name a few.
Rebekah was a show stopper as a yearling, and juvenile. She won 2nd in 2010 at the best of the midwest show. The judge said it was a very hard choice and that there should be 2 first place winners. Rebekah won 2nd place in 2010 at the Indiana Alpaca Invitational, and the judge said that when she opened her fleece it was like "angels singing".
Rebekah then went on to place 1st in the 2010 Buckeye in a very large, very competitive class. Rebekah's 1/2 sister is 1 of the highest selling suri's at the 2008 Futurity Sales. The number of colored accoyos in the US is very small, and mostly white. Rebekah's 5/8 accoyo dark color will definately be a great opportunity to bring rare genetics to your herd.
