Due to the fact I have been using this formula for over 5 years on my farm I can tell you yes, it is!
Can I afford to use this Animal Herbal formula?
You need to think of this formula as preventative health care. By supporting the immune system, reducing parasite load and overall health you increase the factor of having less health and death problems with your alpacas.
What other way can I use the Animal Herbal Formula if I cannot afford to give it to my whole herd?
You can use it medicinally as needed. Check with a Natural Health Practitioner on how to use.
Can I give my alpaca to much of this Animal Herbal Formula?
I have given up to 3 tablespoons per day when an alpaca is ill.
So how does the Alpaca Essence work?
The Alpaca Essence is considered energy medicine. It works on the etheric field which effects the electrical system or E-Motion or energy in motion.
If I use more of the Alpaca Essence does it work better?
The rule in essence use is small amounts more often is best. Giving the whole bottle is no different then the small amounts because it is energy medicine and works with E-motions or energy in motion which can change moment by moment.
Can both the Animal Herbal Formula and Alpaca Essence be used with crias?
I would use the Alpaca Essence without asking anyone but the Animal Herbal Formula should be under the guidance of a Natural Health Practitioner when using with crias. All of our crias receive the Animal Herbal Formula as soon as they are old enough to start eating grain. It is used medicinally if needed.
Can I use the Insect Spray daily?
On adult alpacas you can use a light mist or liberally on infected areas once a day until you have the problem under control. Use lightly on crias.
Can I use the Insect Spray on pregnant females?
Yes, it is safe on pregnant females and crias.
Can they have any reaction to the Insect Spray?
Since it promotes healing to the skin we have had no reactions.
What is Diatomaceous Earth?
Our Diatomaceous Earth is a blend of diatomaceous earth and montmorillonite (which is a clay) and is used for parasite control.
Is this a powder form?
No, this is a granular form which you can put on their grain daily.
Can I use the powder form?
I do not suggest to use the powder due to the fact it can cause choking.
How could I use the powder form?
I use it on dust piles for them to roll in.
Is this Diatomaceous Earth safe to use?
There are 2 kinds of Dieatomaceous Earth. I caution you to be sure and use only FOOD GRADE (which should have only 8-25% "free crystalline slica). Anything that does not say food grade do not feed to your alpacas!
How does Diatomaceous Earth work?
Diatomaceous Earth mode of action for insect and parasite control is strictly mechanical. The microscopically sharp edges contact the insect or parasite piercing their protective coating, causing them to dehydrate and die.
